It was hard to miss Land of Distraction’s big launch in California: the new label took over Chateau Marmont with Angela Bassett, Kate Bosworth, Connie Britton, and gotta-have-it denim. “The second collection comes to New York because it’s the fashion capital, in so many ways,” says founder Danita Short. “It’s more textured, more refined…but still very much in love with corduroy.” Design Director Christian Juul Nielsen worked with Raf Simons at Dior, so your new bell bottoms are in very good hands.
